We discussed it and feel a little lost...

When we started we said we would be honest documenting our journey...

A grey rabbit sitting

So, when we started this blog we agreed we would be transparent about every element of the journey and as the weeks have gone by it feels like we have had less and less to talk about...

Since our last post we have had nothing... and I mean nothing to note from the NHS until Dave rang them last week and found out we aren't even on the waiting list! As you can imagine that was very frustrating, heartbreaking and emotionally wrenching to say the least. The trouble I have always felt with the NHS is that because they are so overwhelmingly busy they become task focussed.

I rang them and after a few people talking to and getting navigated to narnia and back the most I managed to get out of them is that we are in fact in a que still... but nobody there seems to know what for!

We started our journey back in 2020 starting to explore what options were available to us

through the NHS and since then we have managed to increase our pet collection by 5 chickens and a rabbit, been on 3 holidays, ran countless miles and raised some money for charity. But what we haven't got is any further.

The truth is we have been putting off the private route which we started to explore much later until we could lose some weight which we are both on the journey of doing but as time ticks by it feels like we are at a point where we have no other choice. Can somebody please answer how the hell we have got to this stage where the NHS is so poor we have no other option than to wait a lifetime or pay thousands for the chance to try and start a family?

We have both always paid tax, national insurance and never burdened our system and yet it fails us when we need it.

And so... Other than to reach out in a post to say we have no further update, dear reader... any ideas?
